Education and Training
Dr. Davila received his medical degree from Central University of Venezuela School of Medicine. He followed with urology fellowships in research at New York Presbyterian Hospital – Cornell University, the University of California at Los Angeles, and the University of South Florida. He also completed residencies in urology and general surgery at the University of South Florida. During his years of schooling Dr. Davila received numerous awards recognizing his talents.
His vast work experience includes ten years at Cleveland Clinic Indian River Hospital, and 12 years as Clinical Assistant Professor of Urology at Florida State University College of Medicine.
He is fluent in English and Spanish.

Dr. Davila is a leading physician researcher. His work has been published in dozens of prestigious medical journals such as Biology of Reproduction, Cardiovascular Research, Urology and British Journal of Urology. In 2004-5, Dr. Davila was awarded a Pfizer research grant about the “Effects of long-term therapy with Sildenafil on the histological and functional alterations of the aged corporal tissue; implications for reversal of corporal veno-occlusive dysfunction.”
