Dr. Diah is from Northport, NY. She completed her Bachelor of Arts degree in Human and Evolutionary Biology from Harvard University. After working abroad with the Botswana Harvard Health Partnership, she pursued her Masters of Public Health and MD at Columbia University in New York City. Upon graduation, Dr. Diah continued on to complete her urology residency at SUNY Downstate, and a Robotic and Minimally Invasive Surgery Fellowship at the University of Florida, Gainesville.
Dr. Diah has extensive experience in research and was recently awarded first place in the clinical category by the Endourological Society for her paper entitled “PCR vs. Standard Urine and Stone Culture: feasibility and Utility in Nephrolithiasis Patients undergoing surgery.”
Certifications, Memberships, Accomplishments
Dr. Diah has multiple publications and has presented at North American Robotic Urology Symposium, the 36th World Congress of Endourology and SWL, and multiple American Urological Association conferences.
Throughout medical school Dr. Diah was a member, and in her senior year Director, of the Columbia-Harlem Homeless Medical Partnership, providing free health services to the homeless and uninsured in West Harlem.
In 2003, Dr. Diah founded the Jamaica Christmas Project, a nonprofit that collects school supplies and toys for more than 125 children in Cane Heap, Jamaica. She continues this effort today.
