Physician and Team Member Benefits Overview

Advanced Urology Institute (AUI) offers its full-time physicians and team members a comprehensive and competitive benefits package. Medical, dental, vision and income protection benefits are effective the first of the month following the physician or team member’s first 60 days of employment with AUI. Family members eligible for dependent coverage include the physician or team member’s spouse and children.

Medical, Dental and Vision

Medical Insurance

  • Multiple medical plans to choose from (allows the physician or team member to pick the best plan for
  • his or her own individual needs)
  • High Deductible Health Plan (HDHP) with a Health Savings Account option offered
  • Nationwide coverage available
  • All medical plans include pharmacy benefits
Dental Insurance
  • Two dental plan options with in- and out-of-network coverage
  • Domestic partner coverage available (dental only)
  • Dental plans pay the following annual benefit amounts per person enrolled in the plan:
    • High dental plan: $3,000
    • Low dental plan: $1,250
  • Orthodontia coverage available on the high dental plan for dependent children up to age 19 ($1,500 lifetime orthodontia maximum)
  • Vision Insurance
    • Benefits include an annual eye exam ($10 copay) and glasses ($15 copay for eyeglass lenses and $130 allowance towards frames) or contact lenses ($130 allowance)

    • Available for use after 90 days of employment
    • 120 hours accrued annually for the first 5 years of employment
    • Option to “cash-in” up to 40 hours of your accrued and unused PTO
