Fernando received his Bachelor of Science in Nursing Degree from Hunter College in New York City, then stayed there to earn a Master of Science Degree in Adult Gerontology, Primary Care, Nurse Practitioner, graduating Magna Cum Laude.

Fernando joins AUI after recent positions with Infectious Diseases of Mid-Florida, AdventHealth in Daytona Beach, and New York Best Medical in Brooklyn where he provided telehealth services. Prior to that he worked at New York Presbyterian Queens, and Northwell Health in Great Neck and Rego Park, New York.

Certifications, Memberships, Accomplishments

Fernando speaks fluent Spanish and English. He is licensed as a nurse practitioner in adult health and as a registered nurse in both Florida and New York.

He is a member of the National Association of Nurse Practitioners.
