Ali Syed, MD

Dr. Ali Syed is a Board Certified Urologist with Advanced Urology Institute. He obtained his bachelors of Science with distinction from McGill University in Montreal Canada in 2010. He completed his medical degree, magna cum laude, from the State University of New York at upstate in 2014 graduating with induction into the Alpha Omega Alpha Medical Honor Society and the Gold Humanism Honor Society.  Both of his general surgery and urology residencies were completed at Thomas Jefferson University Hospital in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania.

Dr. Syed’s interests include minimally invasive robotic surgery to treat conditions of the genitourinary system and prosthetics for male incontinence and erectile disfunction. He wants patients to have the best care and therefore takes the time to understand each patient’s needs and goals. Dr. Syed has numerous publications and is a member of the American Urological Association. He enjoys spending time with his family, watching hockey, and traveling.
